As I photographed Sabrina and Dave at the 3rd Street Dance Studio and outside of LACMA in Los Angeles, it was evident to me that they shared a love that moved the sun and stars–not to mention, their feet. They shared a few swing dancing steps during this lovely engagement session. In the pictures, you can see the unspoken harmony of their love in action, and the sweetness that they award to one another.
Athena and Brandon were quite the couple! I love working with them in order to preserve their moment of being engaged. Having a busy and tremendously fun day as we went to Santa Monica Place, 3rd Street Promenade, the Santa Monica Pier, and the LACMA, there wasn’t a dull moment where something wasn’t happening. These two were so happy to be together and I felt honored to be able to capture those special moments!
Cindy and Jonathan were in a world of joy as they prepared for their wedding day at the La Canada Flintridge Country Club. There was nothing so beautiful as shooting this lovely couple in the soft afternoon sun. The natural setting that the country club offered wonderful scenic possibilities, and established the prospect of a happy future together for the couple. Most importantly, the entire wedding party was able to feel and reciprocate from the atmosphere of love. What an amazing gathering!

The big day that everyone always looks forward to has arrived for Sarah and Chris. As the beautiful bride gets ready with her bridesmaids at the Flaunt Salon in Long Beach, making sure every last detail is just right, the excitement and butterfly feelings increase. The Groom and groomsmen getting their spiffy attire ready for the aisle. Laughter is shared, drinks are enjoyed, and no one can be happier for the Mr & Mrs. Only moments away from exchanging vows.
What an amazing day at Downtown Santa Barbara where we took this awesome engagement photography session when we ended the entire photo shoot at Stearns Wharf – Santa Barbara Sunset time.

Just take a look at how happy Adi and Boaz are! Capturing the love they shared for their engagement session, these two had an awesome time visiting the Pacific Theatres Culver Stadium 12 and The Culver Hotel. It was the ultimate date and these two shone endlessly with love!
It was a lovely day and I was happy to be a part of another couple’s special day. Adi and Boaz looked wonderful together too. Wearing three different outfits for each of the places they went, they enjoyed a movie at the Pacific Theatres Culver Stadium 12, posed lovingly at The Culver Hotel, and even had a chance to stop for some ice cream from Cold Stones. You have to love that mixture! It was like the ultimate date and these two were full of smiles and love the whole time. Making for a unique session, this was an engagement that truly made me feel like I was seeing the real colors of this couple. It was like taking pictures of their everyday life instead of for a session and I loved that aspect about their day!
Being together for three years after meeting at a Shabbat dinner for a friend that was having a going away party, Adi and Boaz were always trying to go out and have a great time. Loving to socialize and go horseback riding, this couple was all about family and friends. This tied in nicely to the planning of their engagement. Let me tell you a little about it before we get on to the “real” story of their engagement. First off, everyone was always asking these two when they would be getting engaged. Boaz would always answer the same and say sometime after he graduated from his nursing school program. So when that time approached, he tried to think of a way to surprise dear Adi since the constant questioning and bringing up of a possible proposal made it seem like every day thereafter could be that special moment. He wanted it memorable, special, and something that she wouldn’t see coming. He also wanted there to be family and friends around so that they could celebrate right after. He just needed to find something that they both liked to do and something that would be a spectacular engagement.
So what did Boaz end up doing to set the wheels into motion so that our lovely engagement session was able to happen? Well he sure went all out for it! Remembering that Adi and him had wanted to enter The Amazing LA Race, he thought this would work great so that he could arrange a way for her to find the ring. Organizing the event and sending out invitations for family and friends to come to this amazing scavenger hunt, things were really about to happen! Telling three friends about what truly was going to happen so that they could help things go along smoothly, everyone else just thought that this was a day for fun.
As the day was coming to an end, everyone was separated into smaller groups – letting Adi and Boaz be paired alone for this final part. Instead of having everyone cross a finish line, it was designed that everyone would get a numbered envelope instead. Knowing to grab #1 and having others there to ensure that this would happen, Adi and Boaz went to a Ferris wheel to try to find their clue. Adi finally saw an X in the sand near some “sunbathers” – who were actually there on purpose as part of the day. Racing over to it after they got off the Ferris wheel, the sunbathers asked what the X was for and after hearing what they were doing, asked if they could film them digging up whatever was there with the shovels that were next to the X. Little did Adi know that they were actually there to film her reaction. Digging away, they finally come to a chest. Adi opens it and laughed as she saw another chest inside. Opening that too, she was suddenly speechless. Switching to one knee, Boaz then finally proposed to her. She said yes of course, and everyone was there to celebrate this special moment. With a proposal so elaborate and special, it was no wonder that these two were smiling so much! What a great couple! Thanks for letting me be a part of your wonderful story!

Don’t Cindy and Jonathan look lovely for their engagement session? Joining them at The Getty Center in Los Angeles, these two showed me a wonderful example of a strong loving connection. With romance, happiness, and a gorgeous chemistry, these two had a great time showing off their incredible love! What a fantastic relationship they share!
Engagements are always a special and exciting time in a couple’s life. Cindy and Jonathan certainly showed me that for their engagement session! Meeting up with these two fabulous people at The Getty Center in Los Angeles, I was immediately aware of the wonderful connection these two shared. Perhaps it was their stunning smiles that gave it away, or the way they walked together with their hands interlocking. In either case, the more time I spent around them, the more I knew that they definitely had a chemistry that radiated their wonderful love!
Arriving in lovely matching outfits, it was great to see them have another stunning outfit on hand that also matched! Having blue matching shirts at one point before changing into red and white outfits, I found it unique and adorable that they did this. I was especially drawn in by their matching red shoes! With their red assemble making them stand out more in their pictures; I loved the color that they chose. Not only did it stand out, but the meaning also went perfect with their special moment. Representing love, passion, and romance – all of this could be easily seen as I captured their time together.
The Getty Center was a great place for these two to share their love. With spots to sit together and get close, or a lovely mixture of green foliage with manmade structures, each spot was filled with the love that they shared. Dipping Cindy for a few kisses, Jonathan was definitely affectionate with her and in response, her smile lit up the whole day. Just take a look at the images from their day and you will be able to see what a great couple these two make! Thanks for the wonderful day you two, and congratulation on your first step towards forever!

Taleen and Movses shared a romantic time together for their engagement in LA. Visiting the amazing gardened area of the Los Angeles Arboretum, they finished their day off at a beautiful rooftop restaurant called The Perch. Each spot held a wonderful sense of romance and they only added to it with their stunning smiles and beautiful chemistry. Oh what a sight! It was romance at its best!
What a day! It’s always great to work with couples during their special moments and it was no different when it came to this next stunning couple! Meeting up at the lovely Los Angeles Arboretum, Taleen and Movses were both such a sparkling couple of love! Enjoying some time in the quiet garden atmosphere, the place was alive with their romance. Blossoming like a flower at every turn, their love was exquisite. Even as they had a fun and relaxing time at a rooftop restaurant called The Perch, their never ending displays of romance just made the day special. It was wonderful to see them so happy as they celebrated their engagement!
I met this lovely couple through previous couples I have worked with over the last two years. Just like a tight knit family, they all knew each other from their Armenian church. I couldn’t be happier to be their wedding photographer, just like I was sure that Taleen and Movses couldn’t have been happier to find each other! Both growing up in California, their church was a large factor in bringing them together. Going to the same church for years and becoming friends, they eventually decided to become more than that. Dating each other and finding out that they had a lot in common with their love of God, spending time with family, having fun, and listening to country music, it was a perfect match.
Their story doesn’t end there though. There’s still how they got engaged! Taleen and Movses both went to a conference in Montreal, Canada that was being hosted by a church that was part of their church union. Their church group took a tour of parts of Canada after the conference was over. During their last sightseeing location, which was Niagara Falls on July 4th, they had missed the fireworks for the night, but there was soon to be another kind. Even though they had missed the fireworks, the group had still decided to go to see the falls at night. As the group moved ahead though, Movses drew Taleen aside and before she knew it, he was on one knee and proposing! It was definitely a magical time and even though they had been engaged for a year, the same wonderful looks of love and excitement shone brightly in their eyes as I worked with them. Always complementing each other’s personalities, it was wonderful to see them having such a great time and being comfortable with each other. It made for awesome pictures and moments that I’ll never forget!
